As Martin Heidegger pointed out "the phenomenon of the body is the most difficult problem," and today his work is followed by the current phenomenological philosophers and thinkers who are trying to cope with the topics connected to human body and physicality so called "Phenomenology of corporality."

This intensive physical workshop was the opening event of long-term, non-formal educational project "WORKSHOW" which is focused on the formation of physical way of performing and body practice, based on contemporary dance technics as well as to improve public awareness about Slovak scene of contemporary dance and physical theater.

Opening August workshop took primarily the form of creative workshop, where participants have had the opportunity to search, experiment, explore their own physicality, and also to cultivate their original approach to the body as a medium and also to develop their own specific physical language. Workshop participants also have had the unique opportunity to develop their own ideas, to transform their personal fascinations and inspirations into physical language with the support and under the guidance of two well-known artists in the field of physical arts in Slovakia and the USA.
